Program by Chuck, N9RRI who stressed proper grounding procedures and soldering techniques.

New Business:
Round Island Lighthouse Project update by Fred, N5GJ; absence of Glen, K2FF – family emergency – letters appealing for sponsorship have gone out. Charlie, N2PKW spoke of a Fund Raising Committee. Advertising plan has been set up. Things are moving forward.
Old Business: Repeater Status by Nick, K5BQJ, new “cans” have been installed with the old “cans” held in reserve. N5OS Antenna repaired. Charlie, N2PKW and Kurt, K5KDO are to contact Gautier Mayor for concrete arraignments concerning the correct installation on the water tower behind Lowe’s for the other two Repeaters.
VE Activity: Charlie, N2PKW has testing scheduled next week, the first Tuesday of the Month, held at the St. Martin Community Center. VE Training might be something the Club needs to check out.
